SOLD ON SALVATION!
It is written: “…I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right. You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace (shalom) through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.” -Acts 10:34-36
“In reply Jesus declared, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.’ ‘How can a man be born when he is old?’ Nicodemus asked. ‘Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he be born of water and Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying , ‘You must be born again.'” -John 3:3-7
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade– kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.” -1 Peter 1:3-5
“Admission to the kingdom of God is never by the proud prerogative of race, status, nation, class, or gender. It is certainly not by heredity! All who enter the kingdom of God must be born into it by the Spirit. This spiritual birth is an act of God.” -James W. Tharp, Christian Renewal, Winter 2014
Stop being an enemy of your own mind! Today is the day of Salvation! (Luke 19:9) In prayer express your need for Jesus, and receive Him as Lord (enthrone Him as authority for decision making and understanding in your life). Ask God for His free gift of eternal life (John 1:12) in your heart, soul, and mind. Admit that you are a sinner apart from Him, and that these sins are what have separated you from relationship with Him, family, and local community. Sincerely (really mean it!) confess your sins out loud or silently in humility to God and ask Him to forgive you (1 John 1:9). This is God’s only way (through the shed Blood of Christ Jesus) of cleansing you for His presence in Heaven (John 14:6). Ask Jesus to help you have a trusting relationship with Him (Revelation 3:20).
After your prayer, put your absolute trust and faith in Jesus for the rest of your earthly days. Pray to Jesus often… actually, without ceasing (1 Thes. 5:17). Do not return to your former way of life! Insanity (mental illness) is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. It is essential that you grow as a Christian in love for God and fellow man; so fellowship daily with other Believers. Those whom Jesus loves he rebukes (expresses disapproval) and disciplines (makes conform)- so be earnest and repent (Revelation 3:19). Study God’s Living Word daily, renew your mind (start thinking like God thinks, talk like the Bible- a new language), and practice Jesus‘ loving commands always. (James 1:22). Be eternally blessed in Jesus Name! We’ll meet each other in the near future. Sincerely, Brother “Believing” Thomas
Someone once asked Evangelist Billy Graham, “If Christianity is valid, why is there so much evil in the world?” To which Billy replied, “With so much soap, why are there so many dirty people in the world? Christianity, like soap, must be personally applied if it is to make a difference in our lives.”
“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” -James 1;22 NIV
“Sanctified youth are not delinquents. Sanctified adults are not drones. They learn self-discipline, for their hearts are now inclined that way. Money is not wasted on tobacco, or liquor, or gambling, or loose living. LSD is no problem to holy young people. …Holiness is conducive to prosperity and health.” -Preaching Holiness Today, Richard S. Taylor; page 13; Beacon Press, Kansas City, copyright 1968

“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will.” -Romans 12:2
