It is written: “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” -Acts 4:12 “God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth.” -John 4:24
Stop being an enemy of your own mind! Today is the day of Salvation! (Luke 19:9) In prayer express your need for Jesus, and receive Him as Lord (enthrone Him as authority for decision making and understanding in your life). Ask God for His free gift of eternal life (John 1:12) in your heart, soul, and mind. Admit that you are a sinner apart from Him, and that these sins are what have separated you from relationship with Him, family, and local community. Sincerely (really mean it!) confess your sins out loud or silently in humility to God and ask Him to forgive you (1 John 1:9). This is God’s only way (through the shed Blood of Christ Jesus) of cleansing you for His presence in Heaven (John 14:6). Ask Jesus to help you have a trusting relationship with Him (Revelation 3:20).
After your prayer, put your absolute trust and faith in Jesus for the rest of your earthly days. Pray to Jesus often… actually, without ceasing (1 Thes. 5:17). Do not return to your former way of life! Insanity (mental illness) is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. It is essential that you grow as a Christian in love for God and fellow man; so fellowship daily with other Believers. Those whom Jesus loves he rebukes (expresses disapproval) and disciplines (makes conform)- so be earnest and repent (Revelation 3:19). Study God’s Living Word daily, renew your mind (start thinking like God thinks, talk like the Bible- a new language), and practice Jesus‘ loving commands always. (James 1:22). Be eternally blessed in Jesus Name! We’ll meet each other in the near future. [More]
“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver and gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. …For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.” -1 Peter 1:18-19, 23
