Jesus/Yeshua: “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.” -Matthew 12:30 “May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you [Father God] sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” -John 17:23

“THE EARTH is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? ” Psalm 24:1-3

“I refer, of course, not to any particular denominational body, but to the Church as the body of Christ: what the Apostle Peter called ‘the holy nation.’Against The Night- Living in the New Dark Ages, Chuck Colson; pg 134

“It has been the everlasting temptation of organized religion to try and direct the operations of the Holy Spirit—to say what miracles He can and cannot perform, to dictate what gifts He can and cannot give, to determine on whom He can and cannot fall. No! Dear friends, the wind blows where it pleases! Not where our pride and prejudices prohibit, not where our dogmas demand, not where our fears forbid! Those of us who are engaged in revival work should lead the way in repenting of our sins of spiritual pride and unbelief shown in our attempts to control the Holy Spirit.” -James W. Tharp, Christian Renewal, Winter 2014            What is religion?    On dealing with controversy in the Church

Jesus, Yeshua: The prince of Peace “Most people have heard something about Jesus and, truth be told, whatever they’ve heard or seen has given them ammunition to form an unpleasant understanding of Him. … Relationships matter because they help debunk and break down fears, stereotypes, caricatures, myths, pain and anger. The answers that will speak to and deeply engage the dis-churched, overchurched, unchurched and never-gonna-step- into-church kind of people aren’t buildings, more conferences, more theology or even more doctrine. While these all have important value and purpose, something is so simple and profound about the power of human relationships. –Eugene Cho, Outreach Magazine, Jan./Feb. 2013  LOVE: It’s not just a good idea, it’s God’s eternal LAW!

On the Farm-  Mothers and sons

“There is hardly a family who hasn’t, at one time or another, dreamed of coming away from the cares and pressures of life and the sinful world around them to settle down on some peaceful homestead… there to enjoy the Lord, His Creation, and to raise and enjoy their family in an atmosphere that promotes Godliness and wholesome cooperation, kind attitudes, and valuable character for life.”  -Barth Family Ministries; Vermont

It is written: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” -Ephesians 6:12
“But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: ‘Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.'”  -Matthew 12: 25-28

“History has shown, that rather than serving as a force of peace, “religions have served to foment (instigate) scores of horrendous and bloody wars,’ and religious leaders who have ordered their followers, in the name of religion, to kill indiscriminately, ‘have done so by hijacking and distorting the religions in whose name they speak.’–Israel Singer; World Jewish Congress, Report/Fall 2005, page 7

Good and evil cannot be combined for they have absolutely nothing in common! Christianity is exclusively a culture of love and peace! Jesus killed none. The hallmark, distinguishing character, of Jesus’ disciples was martyrdom.      Voice of the Martyrs

Should a Christian Vote? “Roman culture was not neutral with respect to the announcement of God’s reign in Christ. The Gospel of the kingdom is not just about a gift. It is about a change of allegiance. The declaration “Jesus is Lord” was understandably viewed as subversive and a threat to everything the Romans held dear. That’s why Christians had to die. That’s why tyrants such as Stalin and Mao tried to stamp out the Church.”The Threat of Jesus, Rev. Robert Lynn

“A powerful State has always been a threat to the existence and influence of the Church. Whether the threat be Nazism,  Communism, or humanism, a state that is hostile to religion will always attempt to push the church toward forced  irrelevancy.  … As the state expands its powers, it can initiate laws that limit the church’s freedoms. -Hitler’s Cross, Erwin W. Lutzer

The Christian’s primary allegiance is always to Jesus Christ. Christians proclaim Him Lord, recognize Him as their legitimate King, and live as citizens of His kingdom first and foremost. The demands of human government are always secondary to the demands of Christ and His Kingdom—as the lives of countless martyrs and the persecuted church past and present attest. -Chuck Colson

Revelation 18:2-4  Amplified Bible

“And he shouted with a mighty voice, She is fallen!  Mighty Babylon is fallen!  She has become a resort and dwelling place for demons, a dungeon haunted by every loathsome spirit, an abode for every filthy and detestable bird; Because all nations have drunk the wine of her passionate unchastity, and the rulers and leaders of the earth have joined with her in committing fornication [idolatry], and the businessmen of the earth have become rich with the wealth of her excessive luxury and wantonness.  I then heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out from her, my people, so that you may not share in her sins, neither participate in her plagues.”  (Reference: Isaiah 48:20;  Jeremiah 50:8)

“In the 4th century [A.D.], an emperor of the Roman Empire by the name Constantine reported that one afternoon he fell into a trance and had a dream or a vision. He saw a great jewel encrusted cross. And he heard the words “conquer by this.” He awoke from his dream He called his generals and his goldsmiths together and he ordered them all to take their ceremonial spears and to make crosses of them and then to go out to battle with this cross at the head. Of course, in one day he completely subverted the meaning of the cross. But he went on from there with his empire to seduce the [false] “church” with power. The one thing that persecution and even martyrdom that had been the mark of the [True] Church since its inception was unable to do, he did with power. The laws which the State used to persecute Christianity were now used by the “church” to persecute all others. And so the stage was set for on going centuries of abusive power by something called the “church”. From then on the virus of human power has affected the Church [of Yeshua/ Christ Jesus]. But today it seems that somehow God, by His Spirit, is drawing millions people back to centrality of Jesus Christ. His example, and his teachings.”  -(Excerpt) [Live] The  Reconciliation Walk, From Europe to Jerusalem (1999); Defusing the bitter Legacy of the Crusades… and lessons for today

AGod's Word the same Yesterday, Today, and Forever -Hebrews 13:8 desperate and sincere plea: Belonging to an established Church and Creed is commonly a stumbling block for the lost, and surely is not Biblical in order for one to be saved, or to impact the world for Jesus. Infighting between Believers must cease; a house divided cannot stand! Jesus is unity- the world (un-believers) will know we belong to Him by our love for one another. Doctrinal “error” is a critical divide and must be addressed; however, it must be settled through prayer and the Holy Spirit who leads each follower into all Truth. Unless God builds the house, its builders build in vain. So many don’t realize being born anew (again) is just the threshold into God’s kingdom. All believers must desire to grow daily in unfailing love for all people (enemies included) through God’s grace, faith, power, and Spirit. Many a Church has empty pews due to the fact that traditions of men have become substitute for personal obedience to God. Be doers of the Word not hearers only lest you deceive yourselves (James 1:22). The Church is not entertainment, but a place of fellowship, inspiration, and prayer! Each person must develop a worldview and have a full knowledge of the Truth to defeat sin and evil (Satan). Be encouraged because Jesus gives us the victory! -Thomas Millington, Ambassador II Cor.5:20, Ambassador to Jerusalem

“Do not conform  any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will.” -Romans 12:2 NIV

The Ran: (Rabbi Nissim ben Reuven of Girona, who lived from 1320-1380) – “The Hebrews and Egyptians were involved in a clash of two civilizations: the God who created human beings in His image was pitted against the idol Ra, the sun-god who represented domination and enslavement. Thus Moses, the man of justice and freedom for all, was locked in a struggle against Pharaoh, the despot who controlled and enslaved an entire society.” -Judaism, by Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, The International Jerusalem Post 12-28-07
