War Culture or Peace Culture?

It is written: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I [Jesus]  have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”  -John 10:10

Jesus: ” He who hates me hates my Father as well … They hated me without reason.” -John 15:23, 25b

“And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. Is it not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.” -2 Corinthians 11:14, 15 “Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.” -Ephesians 4:14

“Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.” -1 Thessalonians 5:15

Good and evil cannot be combined for they have absolutely nothing in common! Good and evil are diametrically opposed (opposite extremes) to each other. True Christianity is exclusively a culture of love and peace! Jesus killed none. The hallmark, distinguishing character, of Jesus’ disciples was/is martyrdom. The feature image above depicts American Flag (military might) in supremacy to Christian Flag (Peace and love).

A word to the wise: “Elite Secret Clubs have always influenced society. First they build power, and then they bend others to help them, knowingly or in ignorance, to consolidate and expand their power base. Then they destroy society. Some of them already control the world.” -The Secret Societies Handbook, Michael Bradley [De facto VT as an example]

Wrongly combining war and peace

“Jesuits, …approved by Pope Paul III in 1540, the Society of Jesus was designed by its founder (Ignatius Loyola) to provide a company of men unusually well qualified to provide extraordinary service to the Church. A military conception of obedience runs through the training manual, Spiritual Exercises.” –Dictionary of Philosophy and Religion, W. L. Reese [The double headed eagle at right in the “holy” Roman Empire represents the “church” (religious) and the state (secular).]

“The origin of the state is to be found in the development of the art of warfare. Historically speaking, all political communities of the modern type owe their existence to successful warfare.” -Wikipedia

“Abandonment of early pacifist principles began at the conversion of Constantine from paganism to Christianity. He virtually made the church an agency of Roman State, and abandoning her anti-military convictions.” -C. J. Cadoux, historian

“But that alliance was a poisoned chalice. It meant that from the very beginning the power of Western Christendom was based on hierarchical power in Roman style, with the pope substituting for Caesar, rather than on the covenantal style of biblical and Jewish politics.” ” … Catholicism has never done justice to the biblical and Jewish understanding of covenant…” -Taken from Impossible People by Os Guinness. “The world has achieved brilliance without wisdom, power without conscience. Ours is a world of nuclear giants and ethical infants. We know more about war than we know about peace, more about killing than we know about living. -General Omar N. Bradley (U.S., World War II)

It is written: “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Psalm 20:7

Thomas, Amb. at the Mount of the Beatitudes, Israel

All true Christians embrace this: “The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate.  In fact, violence merely increases hate. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” -Martin Luther King, Jr.

“The reliance upon force to gain the compliance of followers to perform any task is tyranny.” -Xenophon.

It is written: “For man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God requires.” -James 1:20

On Wed. Dec. 14, 2016, 8:00 pm, Bill O’ Reilly, FOX News, said factually that all totalitarian States throughout history control[led] the schools and the minds of the masses. For those who may not know Mr. O’ Reilly, he is well studied and has written many best seller books (Review excerpt- Killing Jesus: “Jesus, the little guy, is an enemy of the big corrupt tax-oppressing Roman empire, which is itself just a version of Washington. So, when we examine American schools and the “public square” we see what all are exposed to… it’s everything except Jesus; that is, devoid of moral absolutes (Truth)!  Further examination reveals that television and video games are mostly sinful war culture minded today! Ever notice how all of the advertisements during an NFL football game (nationally viewed by millions) is promoting violence! Lastly, American Churches are mostly empty (or weakened in God’s power) because they too are government controlled (made into 501C-3 contract corporations.) May God’s Holy Spirit come to each soul on earth in order that true revival and healing will take place in the Land.

The Pope and U.S. Presidents formally meet

What Does the Word Vatican Really Mean? It is very relevant to remember that the Vatican [Vatican is from the classical Latin root word: Vaticanus, which by definition means: “house of divination” (dwelling of demons); standing in the center of St. Peters Square is an obelisk [Ra- sun god from Egypt] is an independent country with its own dogmatic constitution. With the Pope (vicar of Christ) being the head of that state. 10 Questions for your Jesuit Provincial   Woe: Mission of the Holy See

“All of the dictatorships glorified force. Compelling the people to work for ‘bullets rather than butter, they converted their industries to war production. Their major efforts were devoted to building powerful military machines.” -Rise of the American Nation, HBJ; 1982; This was recently in Otter Valley High School, Brandon, Vermont (USA)

“Whereas the mindset of Jesus was deeply trenched in the culture of peace, the mindset of most of our US government officials is deeply ingrained in the culture of war.” America in True PerspectiveCharles Mercieca, Ph.D. President International Association of Educators for World Peace Dedicated to United Nations Goals of Peace Education, Environmental Protection, Human Rights & Disarmament

“Papal law [Roman Catholic denomination] was the foundation of colonialism; the Church served as handmaiden to military, economic, and spiritual genocide and domination. Centuries of papal bulls posited the supremacy of Christendom over all other beliefs… -Recovering The Sacred the Power of Naming and Claiming, Winona Laduke

“Furthermore, followers of Jesus refused to worship Caesar, resulting in their blood running fast and furious in the Circus Maxims in Rome and elsewhere.” -Israel My Glory, Jan/Feb 2014, “A More Perfect Union”, by Craig L. Parshall

For evil sorts and henchmen: Hell awaits you- seriously no bluff here! Please, repent now!

“In the battle between forces of good and evil (emphasis added) on this planet, no one can be neutral, you want to take sides.” -Robert Muller, former Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations; Ode Mag

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it [perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind]? -Jeremiah 17:9 Amplified Bible

Bringing attention to an anti Jewish/Christian sentiment as published by the Jerusalem Report, March 7, 2005, page 2: Avrahaum Segol on December 1, 2004 informed  “President Bush and the Supreme Court that a sculpture of Moses holding the ‘Ten Commandments’, part of the courtroom’s northern frieze, parts of commandments six through eight, in Hebrew lettering, are recognizable. In each, the Hebrew word Lo which translates in all religious traditions and translations as ‘Thou shalt not…’ happens to be missing, covered by Moses’ beard and robe! Indeed, chiseled in marble upon the walls of the highest court of the land is: Thou shalt murder, Thou shalt commit adultery, Steal.  The Supreme Court has known about this scandal since 1997 and elected to never publicly disclose the fact.”

“The aim- understood by presidents, overlooked by many voters- is eternal mastery and control, which, naturally has a high price. Bacevich’s (*1) cool, balanced analysis is compelling, and recalls chilling words penned by James Madison (*2) in 1795: ‘Of all the dreaded enemies of public liberty, war is perhaps the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies. From these proceed debt and taxes. And armies, debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few.'” -Geoffrey Wawro, Professor of strategic studies at the U.S. Naval War college

“The Church [of Jesus Christ] knows nothing of any sanctity of war. War is a struggle for life using dehumanized means. The Church that prays to our Father yields to God only for peace.Dietrich Bonhoeffer (Murdered by Hitler’s regime for his stand against him).

As soldiers of the cross, Christians are to put on the symbolic armor of God. “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God…” (See Ephesians 6:11-17) Yes, as Christian soldiers, our battles are not with others, but with ourselves and our own fallen tendencies. “Fight the good fight of faith…” 1 Timothy 6:12

Note that, in the list of Christian armor, the only defensive tool is the sword of the Spirit—the Word of God. The disciple of Christ must use none of Satan’s weapons—anger, malice, hatred, strife, evil speaking, etc. After enlisting as a soldier of the cross, this sword of the Spirit can only be obtained and used properly by careful Bible study. Hijack America- Enemies from within!

“Those who expose doctrinal error are often branded as being negative and as not displaying Christian love. But an examination of the New Testament and the statements of Jesus Christ  reveals that the negative is often rightly expressed.  …  As Swindoll notes, counterfeits do not advertise what they are really doing, and people by the millions are deceived. ‘Deception comes in convincing fashion, wearing the garb of authenticity, supported by the credentials of intelligence, popularity, and even a touch of class.'” -Edmund C. Gruss, Cults and The Occult

“Kill or be killed” is a catchy phrase and certainly has a lot of justification when armed aggression is manifesting itself for real. One will do what one will do to the extent of ones training and outlook at life. Do know, however, that all wars ought to be ending because Jesus came to earth to teach us humans how to think and live rightly in love.

It is written: [Jesus:] “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.  Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.” -Matthew 5:7-10

Martin Luther King, Jr. had it right:  “The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate.  In fact, violence merely increases hate. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

God’s Word the same Yesterday, Today, and Forever -Hebrews 13:8

Conclusion: Patriotism is not Christianity!
